The People of Dievsēta (CD): ‘Songs of the Seasons’
($15 + $2 shipping):
The idea for this CD rose from the wish to introduce other Latvians to their heritage, and to encourage them to adopt some of the traditions for themselves. The goal is to expand knowledge about these songs and traditions, and to preserve them for coming generations. The singers on this recording are not professional musicians; they are simply the people of Dievsēta who enjoy singing and who care about the future of Latvian traditions.
